“The Trail to Treasure” Physical Release Delay
Previously, I announced that “The Trail to Treasure,” the second book in the “A Road Never Walked Alone” series, would be releasing in two volumes. The first would contain chapters nine to thirteen and would go live in late 2026. The second would contain chapters fourteen to eighteen and would be released in early 2027. However, this will no longer be the case, and the release plan for the volumes is changing slightly.
Ever since I first started work on this series, I knew exactly who I wanted the cover artist to be: a childhood friend of mine named Ashley. We grew up together hoping to one day be an artist and an author, and with the release of “The Journey for Joy,” that dream finally came true. I am looking forward to the same being true of “The Trail to Treasure,” but it will have to wait a little bit longer. Due to scheduling conflicts, the physical releases of volumes one and two of “The Trail to Treasure” will be coming later than anticipated during 2027 rather than beginning later this year in 2026.
Ashley has decided she needs more time to work on the cover of “The Trail to Treasure,” and rather than find a different cover artist, I have decided that her art is more than worth the wait. I will be giving her all the time she needs to finish the cover art, and when it is done, we will welcome “The Trail to Treasure” into the shop. I initially planned to release volume one’s physical edition later in 2026 and volume two in early 2027, but they will both be waiting until 2027 instead to give her more time to make something incredible for the launch.
What does this mean now? The chaptered eBook releases will continue on as they have up to this point with monthly installments. Nothing has changed on that front. I initially planned to launch the larger volume style eBooks with the physical releases, but due to this delay in scheduling, I will be releasing the full volume eBooks sooner under a different cover. They will be updated with the final cover after it has been completed, likely around the time of the physical launches. The first volume’s eBook will be coming soon while the second will go live during January of 2027.
Within the next few weeks, I will share updates about the volume one eBook launch, and I hope anyone waiting for the larger releases is looking forward to it! For those wanting to pick up a physical copy of “The Trail to Treasure” instead, I hope you will be willing to wait a little bit longer. The cover will be something incredible when it comes, and I have nothing but complete faith in Ashley’s skills. Good things come to those who wait, and I know this cover art will be more than worth our patience. Thank you for your understanding.
